(based in Salt Lake City) around 1928 to Logan City residents. The mining venture was eventually abandoned.

Herbert A. Newey was a consulting chemist born in Logan, Utah in 1916 and lived there until 1938. He lived in California in 1984. A.J. Simmonds was head of Special Collections and historian at Utah State University Merrill Library.
